1. Who we are

2. What data we process

  • Forms (contact and table reservation): your name, email address and, if you fill them in, your phone number, date, time, number of guests and your message. These are sent to us by email and kept in the website's management area, so that no message gets lost.
  • Newsletter: if you sign up, your email address and the language in which you viewed the website. You first receive an email to confirm your subscription; without confirmation your address is deleted after 7 days.
  • Visitor statistics: which pages are viewed, with the language, the country (derived from your browser's time zone), the website you came from and whether it is a phone or a computer. We use no cookies for this and store no IP addresses: your IP address and browser are made unrecognisable (hashed) together with a key that changes every day, so visitors can only be told apart within a single day.
  • Your stay: if you book with us, the details needed for your reservation and stay.
  • Technical data: our hosting provider logs IP addresses and requested pages for security and troubleshooting (server logs). To prevent abuse of the forms, the website keeps an IP address in memory for at most one hour.

3. Purposes and legal basis

  • Answering your question or request and handling your booking (performance of a contract, or steps taken at your request before entering into one).
  • Sending you our newsletter (your consent, which you can withdraw at any time).
  • Keeping the website secure, preventing abuse and keeping track of how the website is used in order to improve it (legitimate interest).
  • Legal obligations such as bookkeeping (legal obligation).

We do not sell your data or pass it on to others for advertising.

4. Retention

Messages sent through the forms are automatically deleted from the website after 12 months at the latest. We keep your newsletter subscription until you unsubscribe with the link at the bottom of every newsletter. Visitor statistics are deleted after 13 months. Data we are legally required to keep, such as invoices, is kept for as long as the law requires.

5. Cookies and external services

This website uses no analytics or advertising cookies; only a cookie that remembers the language you chose (see the cookie policy). Google Maps and videos from YouTube or Vimeo are only loaded when you click the button for them; from then on that service receives data such as your IP address and its own privacy policy applies. Photos and fonts are served by our own website.

6. Sharing

We only share your data with the providers that run the website and email for us (our hosting provider mijn.host) and with public authorities when the law requires it.

7. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, to restrict processing, to data portability and to object. Please contact us through the contact page.
