Our story
A dream in the mountains
In 2025, we – Marius, Sarah-Jane and our two children – took the plunge. We swapped the familiar Netherlands for the peace and quiet, the wide open spaces and the beautiful mountains of the Vosges. At the charming Auberge Le Grammont, beautifully situated above the villages of Ramonchamp and Le Thillot, we found the perfect place to make our dream a reality. This is where we join forces: Marius brings his culinary expertise and hotel school experience to the kitchen, whilst Sarah-Jane shares her long-standing passion for culture and hospitality with every guest. Together, we form the heart of this auberge.
Whether you’re coming to tackle the famous mountain passes in the area, explore the walking trails on our doorstep or simply enjoy the countryside with your family: at Le Grammont, you’ll find a home away from home in the mountains. From early 2027, you’ll be warmly welcomed to our first five modernised rooms.
